PRoF2.0 - Personalised residence of the FutureWe initially started to explore retirement housing for elderly. During the brainstorm it became clear that not many elderly dream of being admitted to a retirement home and that most would like to live independently as long as possible.
Hence the concept was re-oriented to create a personalised residence of the future. The concepts starts from the observation that a the housing needs evolve as the elders evolve and flexibility for care should be foreseen withouth creating the stigma of being a nursing ready home. The concept was introduced to the public in July 2011 and can still be visited at the PRoF location |
