The vision of the PRoF consortium reaches beyond the creation of architectural concept rooms and designing healing environments, it also aims to improve the welfare experience inside healthcare organisations. Therefore, the PRoF consortium has established a new innovative think-thank for social items: the PRoF-JEWEL team. This team is challenged to find keywords for a Joyful WELfare and use them to discover and disseminate innovative approaches for social issues.
This time the lead roles in the creative team are not taken by the architects and manufacturers as it was the case for the architectural concepts; the PRoF members representing care stakeholders and social organisations are in the lead of this innovative approach to improve welfare.
The PRoF-JEWEL initiative is especially interested to discover the strengths and hidden competences of the individuals who are vulnerable to threats to their well-being. We aim to discover the pearls of happiness hidden inside the individuals and their environment.
